Diabetic Humbugs

Nope, not the name of some cutting edge electronica duo based in Vegas,  but actually Rob's in-flight sweets of choice.

I guess it says something about our state of tiredness (and a lot more about the state of our sense of humour) when diabetic humbugs have been the source of many a joke. We've been on this plane for over 12 hours straight thanks to our brief stop at Glasgow - it's been a long flight and so the jokes are struggling.

On the plus side, I've demonstrated a never before seen good run at Texas Hold 'em leaving me as current chip leader after many hours play. Those who know how bad I actually am should be pretty impressed at this.

Unfortunately, Mike has stolen all of my limelight by hitting on one of the leaderboard challenges already - he's only gone and won a pot with Pocket Threes before we've even touched down in Vegas, taking a big pot in the process.

Hope mine and Mike's luck remains once we hit the casinos proper...

p. s.  I've just witnessed the most complicated method of sorting out who is sharing with who in the rooms. Didn't realise it was that complicated!
