New Record
The exchange rate was against us, and the club are taking advantage of everything which priced us out of a table. Although only marginally cheaper when a round of 4 VRB nuked the kitty at $220 + tip..
Homeward Bound
Quick checkout and last meal in the Aria cafe before the slots hovered up a few more dollars.
It's been a fantastic week felt like a lot longer. Managed to do a bit of everything.
Big thanks to Rob for sorting out the Razors a highlight for me, and of course all the boys for coming. I know the financial commitment is significant as is the support from our families without which this couldn't have happened.
Enrique Iglesias
After a successful day in the office, Paul kindly bought a round of Don Julio in a bid to see if £400 a bottle tequila was nice.
It wasn't. It did help Rob sleep past 8am tho.
Aoki @ Omnia
Last night we abused the remaining bar crawl wristband which we had snapped up earlier in the week - we just rocked up, got the wrist band then made our own way to Omnia to jump the queue with the wristband and then ditch it.
A few drinks out on the terrace before making our way downstairs to see Aoki.
The place was rammed and it was like a scrum to make it to the dancefloor. Once there Aoki arrived and for all his energy and the entertainment, none of us were really feeling his style of music which was a shame. The highlight was when Aoki donned a pair of light up liquid ice/smoke guns and started going mental firing them over the crowd.
Conversation quickly turned to Wednesday night and the debate about how to end the week, with DJ Chuckie playing at Surrender but fears we won't like the music (it should be good, but then we said that about Aoki...).
Surrender is also not as good a club as Omnia, it's probably only the 3rd best club in Vegas 😄😄😄😄
Aria
Checking out of the Venetian was painless, unlike the cab ride.
Our African driver was using his phone to catch up on his Nigerian soaps subjecting us to the sound via the car sound system. Unable to compete and have a conversation, we just kept a eye on the lights for him to minimise what he missed.
No help with the cases, on got out the car to get his money and of course took his tip.
Only casually where Paul's sunglasses. Guessed to be on Juanita's eBay account before we checked in at the Aria.
Back home, in the desert.
Sad sacks on Fremont Street
Tonight we were all rather subdued after 3 days of over doing it. Went to old town for a top Italian steak at the D/ Andiamo steak house, and then played craps for a bit. The whooping and trash talk from one of the overly excited American girls started to grind on us, so we left.
Don't know where to look on Fremont Street, plenty of tramps performing street acts for a dollar. One guy saying 'kick me in the balls and if I bend over you can have your money back'! Really, is that a job?!
Rather sad to see the original home of poker- Binions poker room empty and run down.
Quickly back to our 5 star Aria hotel for an early night to try and get some energy back for tomorrow.
Meal Time
Body clocks up the wall it became a habit for a 6am sit down meal before bead .

Lunch at lunchtime we actually managed something green in Nine Fine Irishmen..
Just another night in Vegas...
Waiting for The Chainsmokers to arrive, enjoying 'Gareth's round', a drink called 'Goodbye Disagreeable Person' (AMF).
Surrender
We had a great night at Surrender watching DJ Chuckie.
Mike was really keen to go and see him, and I don't think he was disappointed.
When Surrender posted an arty black and white picture on their twitter feed to show how much the crowd were loving it, guess who's grinning face was in the middle of it......
